Morro Canyon
Morro Canyon is a full day mountainous adventure that takes you into a wilderness area few people have the opportunity to see. While being primarily a dry canyon, Morro does feature multiple pools of water (up to about knee deep) that you will wade through. You are going to get your feet wet, but that is about it. The trip features a moderate-difficult approach hike of approximately 2 hours with an elevation gain of about 480m and requires a good level of physical fitness. Once you reach the canyon there are eight rappels and many more supported maneuvers with the longest rappel being approximately 20 meters. This 8–10 hour day is a great family outing that offers incredible vistas and an amazing experience. If you are looking to learn what Canyoning is all about this is the trip for you.
